I started the New Year well and relaxed. I took a little getaway to Vermont for a few days. I did not expect to spend so much time in doors but it snowed the entire time and the cold weather kept me sitting home by the fire. I had a chance to reflect on all of my goals for 2013 and look back on the accomplishments in 2012. I find it extremely import to start the new year with my goals set in mind as it is my driving force throughout the year. I am thankful for many wonderful things 2012 brought and look forward to the new ones that will come this year.
I finally decided to leave the house when the sun came out and when the snow went away and I stumbled upon this beautiful scenery. Life is funny in that sort of way. Regardless if your year might have been cold and gloomy, and kept you from getting out and accomplishing the things you had set in your heart; the sun eventually comes out. When it does it may just take you to amazing places in life. I hope you all have a very sunny new year!
Here is a snapshot of me at a friend’s costume party. Of course I was thrilled at the opportunity to dress as little red riding hood. Have a wonderful weekend and don’t forget to live life, and laugh often.
Happy new year everyone!
I hope your end of the year celebrations were as wonderful as mine. I had a long break from work, spent time with my favorite people in the world and then did nothing. Doing nothing sometimes come with great pleasure (if you run around as much as I do). Well, before winding down to close the year I was out celebrating my birthday. Here are a few more pics from that day. Have a lovely week!!!
